Über uns

I build software for a living, on two different sides of the same coin. For six years, I've worked as a backend engineer, and for five of those years, I've also built games in Unity. Most people pick one lane. I never had a good reason to. On the backend side, I've led teams building AI-powered platforms for banks and enterprises, chatbots, voicebots, systems that need to work under real pressure and real compliance rules. I've also built things from scratch, including my own startup's core backend, which crossed $100K in transaction volume in its first three months. I work mainly in Python, FastAPI, and Django, with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis underneath. On the game side, I've shipped mobile titles, built VR experiences for Meta Quest, and led small teams through the full pipeline: design, code, animation, and release. I care about games that stick with people, not just ones that fill time. I've worked across Unity, C#, multiplayer networking, and performance optimization for constrained hardware. The overlap between the two is bigger than it looks. Backend work has taught me to think about systems that scale and hold up under load. Game work has taught me to think about the person on the other end and how something feels to use, not just whether it works. I bring both instincts to whatever I'm building. Open to backend engineering roles, Unity/game development roles, or anything that benefits from both.
