I started my career as an accountant, mastering the monthly and annual tax reporting, balance sheets, and P&L statements. Those four years taught me accuracy and importance of deadlines. But I wanted to move from recording the past to shaping the future. So I transitioned into financial analysis. And more importantly financial analysis gave me more creative and interesting daily tasks. I built reports for senior management that compared actuals to budgets, supported product teams with up-to-date data, and helped forecast P&L for new bank branches. I also tracked sales KPIs—which taught me that good analysis doesn't just inform executives; it helps frontline teams perform better. Today, as a Senior Financial Analyst at InecoBank CJSC, I am part of the bank's core budgeting process. Every month, I dig into variances between actuals and budget, then turn those findings into summary reports for management. I prepare ALCO reports and forecast foreign currency cash flows—work that directly shapes how the bank manages liquidity and risk. I also step outside my formal role to help business divisions assess new products or campaigns. On the technical side, I bring financial modeling, statistical modeling (at university level), advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI, R Studio, SQL, and Jira. I am also working toward the CFA Level I, sitting for the exam in November 2026. I do this not for the title, but because I want to be better at what I do.
