Backend and ML engineer with a Master's in Artificial Intelligence and 5+ years building data-intensive systems in Python and FastAPI. I have spent most of my career as the sole backend engineer on the systems I work on, which means I design the architecture, model the data, build the services, and deploy them. On two university research platforms I took NLP and ML from prototype to production: automatic summarization, spam and NSFW detection, content classification, and event detection over a continuously growing Persian-language social media corpus. What I enjoy most is taking an idea that is not fully defined yet, working out what it needs to become, and building the system that makes it real.
